Investigations were carried out on the coking coal fines generated at Bhelatand (India) washery of M/S Tata Steel to reduce ash content. Both 100 and 220 mm diameter columns designed and developed by RRL, Bhubaneswar were used in these studies. The studies include investigations on physical, chemical and washability product with maximum recovery.
