The best boss to farm for gold would be Halfang Bristlecrown in Vestrilund, Wintertusk. You'll have to complete Ravenscar in Grizzleheim to get there. It's also easier to do if you're over level 50 and have reached The Floating Land in Celestia due to being able to get new Sun School enchants when you're high enough level.

Don't bother with first half dozen realms that are crowded go for the realms that are less occupied.

Mirage and Empyrea drop some noticeable amounts of those. As for Iron, questing and farming in lower worlds is good, and feeding items (like seeds and music scrolls, dropping in abundance in upper worlds) to your pets are two ways of getting it. Transmuting is good for the last few, not for the bulk of the stuff needed.

Blade is still AB tier, even at max. The damage and sockets you get are decent. The Hades wand is the best free crit wand, even at max. My max storm is going through empyrea 2 right now, using the wand and it's going super well.

BIG TIP: GET WATERWORKS GEAR AT 60 AND THEN KEEP THOSE BOOTS, ROBE, AND HAT UNTIL DARKMOOR GEAR AT LVL 100. people get way too sidetracked with gear when waterworks is very good until 100 (except from some specific crown gear on the way). Of course, athames, ring, amulets can change along the way to 100 since they actually make some difference.
